Chinoiserie Dragon Soap

Here is a wonderful little touch of Chinoiserie for your powder room or bath for only $4.00. These handcrafted soaps are vegan-friendly and cruelty-free and are made with plant materials like lavender buds and rosebud petals. My favorite is this dragon Nag Champa with undertones of champa flowers, vanilla, rose geranium, jasmine and spices. You can find this and many others like lemongrass and jasmine on Etsy at Solstice Scents. Thanks to Theresa and her blog Art's the Answer! for this idea. Theresa is a decorative artist and has a fascinating blog-check it out!

I love this but would hate to have someone take it in the shower with them and let the design melt off....

Soodie-Oh I so agree. I would just have these at my powder room sink or my sink in my bathroom-I wouldn't let my husband near them!

Its so funny that I thought the same thing. Is it too 1950s to have soap just to look at...will I be getting plastic covers my new sofa next!!! Oh the horror!!!!!
Oaky now that I've calmed down..at $4 it"s really a "use it" kind of price. I'll buy more....
Have a great weekend & thanks for tip.

Alicia-I think in these tough economic times little indulgences are especially important. Thanks for stopping by.

I just ordered some soap from her today thanks to your post (not the dragon, the 'fern' one was more my speed scent wise!).

Stefan-That's great! I think Etsy has some amazing artists that I love supporting.

It almost looks like it's carved from amber.
