Flowering Quince

I received an email inquiring about the wallpaper in this photo from yesterday's post. The wallpaper is Flowering Quince by Clarence House. It was created by the brilliant artist and fabric designer Kazumi Yoshida. For more examples of his stunning and inventive work, check out this post on The Peak of Chic. This wonderful bedroom was featured in Domino Magazine and belongs to Paul Costello, ex-photographer of Domino and his wife Sara Ruffin Costello, ex-style director of Domino. I previously featured the paper in my post on The Chinoiserie Bath. It is also available in 100% linen fabric.

For a very well-priced alternative for your bed, I just love this Flowering Branch Tapestry from Urban Outfitters for only $36.00.

It's beautiful - and I love it with the rose shade.

You have seen the foyer of Bloomsbury Life blogger, she has this stunning paper, and a little sheep to graze in her foyer under these blossoms.
I love Quince Jam...

pve design-This design is quickly becoming a "go to" Chinoiserie wallpaper. It is perfect for a foyer, powder room, dining room, bedroom, anywhere really.

I am just insanely crazy for this wall covering! I would love to put in the foyer of my center hall plan house (that I don't have) with a little glossy black chest with saucy pulls and a big gilt chinoiserie mirror surmounting it! (all that I don't have...)

Soodie-Find a place to use it now, or use it down the road when you have the right spot for it. This paper is a keeper.
