Joe Nye & Chinoiserie

I adore the Beverly Hills apartment of Joe Nye featured in the August 2009 issue of House Beautiful. I wanted to make sure you didn't miss all of his Chinoiserie touches. Above is his bedroom with Travers Chinoiserie curtains. Below is another view of the bedroom with a Frances Elkins Art Deco japanned dressing table.

An antique Chinoiserie pedestal table:

Set with Mottahedeh Blue Canton plates and Juliska bamboo flatware.

A dramatic red and black bathroom with parrot tulips:

I love that bedroom. It's eclectic and pulled together all at the same time.

Did you notice how beeautiful the wood floor is in the dining room (second up from bottom). And I am totally digging the melon-colored draperies!

Kitty-That melon is the color of my silk dining room curtains-love that color.

Before popping over to your two sites today in my leisurely morning (post vacation) browse, I hadn't heard of Joe Nye and now, I'm his biggest fan!
