A Passion for Detail

Three of my favorite details from Joe Nye's apartment featured in yesterday's post are the Harnaz cashmere throws, Mottahedeh Blue Canton china, and Juliska bamboo flatware. I have found either close substitutes or discounts on these for you. These gorgeous cashmere throws are from Williams Sonoma Home. They come in an array of wonderful colors; the photo shows a few. This china pattern is a classic for any lover of Chinoiserie. Find it here at a substantial discount.

My favorite find of all is the bamboo lacquer flatware at Caspari for $8.50 a place setting. Joe Nye's is Juliska, but is $145.00 a place setting, which most people might find high for bamboo. By the way, it is dishwasher safe.
