Iomoi Obsession

I have been obsessing over this iomoi elephant and monkey tape dispenser since I first saw it. At $158.00, I have put off the temptation so far, but this piece is hand-poured, weighs three pounds and was created by a New York sculptor. I've decided to tell myself it is a good price for a work of art. What do you think? I really want it for my desk.

  1. my thoughts exactly! I love it and have it bookmarked as it would be perfect on my desk too. Be sure to let us know if you convince yourself it's a necessity.

  2. Too fabulous to pass up! It is art that serves a function, to me that is a two for one special.

  3. I think it is divine! Now you have ME obsessing about it. You work hard for your money and it is not like $158 will put you in the poor house. You deserve to treat yourself to something this special and I agree that it is truly a tiny work of art. Order it TODAY! I very well may do so myself. Love it!

  5. hi beth,

if it truly speaks to you then i say get it. it's something you will see and use each day. it's not going to get buried in a corner or closet somewhere.
btw, i caved and got a little red lantern, talk about speaking to me, that thing shouted!

  6. Will it be one of those things that years later you still pine for? You know the feeling...if so, go for it I think!

  7. You get an elephant, a monkey and tape carried in style. You could spend more money and much less fun. Besides, think of all of the money you have saved on your amazing finds.

  8. scotch tape is a great essential to almost everything, especially the holidays! So, if you add the # of uses for the entire year then divide by 365 days, you will be surprised to know that this art is not just a want, but a need!I would say, it is an investment...wishing you a great week... verbena cottage

  10. I say get it. If you've been pining for it for a few weeks now and are still in love with it, then it's meant to be, isn't it?
