Incredible Chinoiserie on OKL

I am excited to bring you an exclusive sneak preview of the Belle Chasse sale today on One Kings Lane. Belle Chasse Home specializes in fine art and hand-painted wallpaper, with an emphasis on Chinoiserie. Co-owner Simon Scott, previously of Jardins en Fleur and Jardins du Jour, is a follower of Chinoiserie Chic. Their goal is to become the source for customizable, heirloom quality Chinoiserie art. If you are in the market for a stunning focal point for your home, today is your chance to snatch up these beauties at substantial savings. The sale begins today at 11:00 AM, Eastern time. I love a quote they have on their website-"Chinoiserie just makes everything feel a little cooler, don't you think?"

  3. The pagodas would look terrific GROUPED together. The SCALE of the figures based on the 17th c engravings by Bouvet is ESPECIALLY NOTABLE. Given that each is about two feet tall, the SCALE of them gives them a much greater visual impact than the smaller original engravings would have achieved. It is also significant that these prints are made from contemporary painted interpretations of the original prints and look like paintings rather than engravings.
