This wonderful oval Chinoiserie kitchen island was created by placing a marble slab on two Chinoiserie chests and a center cabinet that was stained and painted to match. The kitchen, featured in Traditional Home, was created by designer Vasi Ypsilantis. I love the contrast of the dark Chinoiserie island with the white kitchen cabinets.
