For fabulous and easy New Year's Eve entertaining, buy Champagne splits (a quarter bottle) in one or more of these great colors and coordinate with matching Chinese lanterns.
I fell in love with Domaine De Canton when it was introduced to me at a Food and Wine Festival this past summer.I drank it with lemonade and vodka for a refreshing drink. I'm going to go break it out right now. It's 5:00 somewhere.

Where can I obtain these beautiful Chinese lanterns in such unusual colors. I love your blog and have begun to decorate in the style, starting with my living room. I have a daughter from China, Sylvie, and collected some pieces while in China. I wasn't sure how to get started and your blog helped incredibly! Thanks, Gina
I grew up in Europe and Lake Forest, Illinois. After graduating from The Ferry Hall School, Bryn Mawr College, and George Washington University Law School, I practiced law in Washington, D.C. Now I am finally devoting my time to two of my great passions - interior design and Chinoiserie.
Please visit me at my other blog Style Redux-a blog about great style in fashion, interior design, and a bit of everything else. It may be vintage or new, budget or designer. It's all about living a life of style.
