Quadrille Chinoiserie

For me, no fabric collection works better than Quadrille if your taste in Chinoiserie tends to the modern interpretation for which this blog has coined the term "Chinoiserie Chic." This room above by Jennifer Connell is a wonderful example. She has paired Chinese Chippendale slipper chairs (The Kit Chair by Hickory Chair) upholstered in Quadrille/China Seas Cirebon in Black on Tint with a wonderful faux bamboo tea table here used as a cocktail table. I am really warming to the higher and smaller tea table used as a cocktail table. It is a better height and size in many rooms.

The chairs are lovely! They are the Kip Chair by Hickory Chair. I'm ordering a pair for my shop in a custom color Chinatown Orange - perfectly between red and orange.....haven't chosen a fabric yet though, perhaps Schumacher Nanjing in smoke.....
