Once again, you have aroused feelings of envy in me. What a wonderful painting. How did it come into your possession? (I am assuming it was yet another incredible bargain.)
Ann - You know me. It is a six foot tall framed oil painting I got from a very high end store in Old Town Alexandria that the people were retiring and the store was closing. I think it was marked down from $2,000 to $400!
I grew up in Europe and Lake Forest, Illinois. After graduating from The Ferry Hall School, Bryn Mawr College, and George Washington University Law School, I practiced law in Washington, D.C. Now I am finally devoting my time to two of my great passions - interior design and Chinoiserie.

Beautiful painting! Do you know who the artist was that created it? The colors are charming.
