This gorgeous pagoda fabric is Sanderson's Pagoda River. A vintage design from the Eton Rural Collection of the 1910s, it is now part of their Vintage Prints and Wallpapers Collection. Interestingly, it has a wonderfully modern vibe.
Love this fabric- I have it in the red/gold colorway in some chic Chinoiserie panels for my dining area. I found the fabric on Ebay, put it in black frames from Craigslist that I edged with gold leaf paint- voila! Chinoiserie panels on a budget!
I grew up in Europe and Lake Forest, Illinois. After graduating from The Ferry Hall School, Bryn Mawr College, and George Washington University Law School, I practiced law in Washington, D.C. Now I am finally devoting my time to two of my great passions - interior design and Chinoiserie.
