Great Chinoiserie Rooms That Break the Rules in Style


The old rule that that oversized patterns should just be used on larger surfaces like walls and curtains is so dated. Look how fabulous these large scale Chinoiserie fabrics look on these chairs. Another myth debunked.

Picture #4 & #9 just KNOCK my socks OFF!!! The colors in #4 are pure genius in my book...finding those two complementary fabrics and combining them on that chair make for such a special impact! Lovely post!!

I'm never sick of the Schumacher dragon fabric. I have it on pillows and now I want a chair covered in it! LOVE that pic!!

That Schumacher fabric is awe-some. I wanted the wallpaper in my dining room but it was just slightly too much. Sigh.
