Ikat Bowl
I just purchased one of these Nate Berkus Porcelain Ikat Bowls. At $29.99, I think it has great style. It's also quite large-10 1/2 inches, so it will make a statement wherever you put it. I especially love the gold pattern.

Yesterday's Chinoiserie Finds
Can you spot my latest finds? On the extreme left is a tiny Blanc de Chine goddess from my favorite consignment shop for $8.00. She the smallest I have and so sweet. At the far right are the cutest Ikat Mini Bowls from Anthropologie for $8.00 each. Click photos to enlarge. I'll be enjoying everything from indoors as DC is about to get hit with our first real winter storm of the season.

Chinoiserie Chic Cheap Glassware
Colored glassware is a very hot trend that works beautifully with Chinoiserie china patterns. Unfortunately, it can be pricey and hard to find. Caspari is stocking these fun Moroccan tea glasses in fabulous colors for only $7.50 a glass. Joe Nye's wonderful book Flair has great examples of pairing Chinoiserie linens and china with colorful glassware.

Chinoiserie Wine Tags
It drives me nuts when guests bring wine as hostess gifts to my cocktail parties with no name on it so I don't know whom to thank. These personalized Chinoiserie Boatman Geller wine tags solve the problem when I'm the guest and with great Chinoiserie style. Lots of ink colors and type styles allow personalization. Find them here.

David Hicks The Vase by Clarence House
Yesterday I posted about a wonderful deal on one of Chinoiserie Chic's favorite fabrics Le Lac. This same Etsy seller also has another one of our top Chinoiserie fabrics available, Clarence House The Vase by David Hicks. Everyone will remember Mef Braff's wonderful foyer done in The Vase wallpaper. Click here to buy 3 yards in my favorite colorway at a great price for this iconic fabric. Stunning for the blue and white Chinoiserie room. Think about a roman shade, pillows, or chair seats.

Chinoiserie Chairs
This style bamboo chair I saw today on One Kings Lane is a great alternative to our beloved Chinese Chippendale chair. It works beautifully in virtually any room of the house and is especially wonderful with cushions in one of our favorite Chinoiserie fabrics. Be on the lookout for vintage chairs like these.

My One Kings Lane Score
Did anyone else grab a wonderful Paul Montgomery hand painted panel yesterday on One Kings Lane? They sold out faster than you could say "Chinoiserie." Above is the pair of Canton Garden panels I was able to get. Click to enlarge.

The Blue and White Chinoiserie Bath
Turn your own bathroom into a bamboo garden using Carleton V's Havana as in this wonderful blue and white bath by designer Gideon Mendelson featured in House Beautiful. I would however much prefer white towels with a blue monogram.
