The Top Ten Chinoiserie Pieces #2

We started a new series yesterday with Elle Decor's Top 10 Chinoiserie Pieces. Number 2 is the Peking Cocktail Table by Michael Smith for Baker with its fretwork detailing. It is priced at $2,720. What about taking an Ikea Lack Coffee Table at $39.99 and adding the amazing fretwork panels from O'verlays at $2.95 a foot. Check out examples of their incredible transformations here. A pair of Ikea Lack Side Tables at $7.99 each with the Greek Key Lack Table Kit at $39.99 each would also work great as a coffee table. Another wonderful idea is to find a vintage fretwork coffee table and paint it any color of your choosing. I have shown some examples below. These ideas start at about $100, a far cry from $2,720.
