Dogs and Chinoiserie

John Rosselli
I'm sure you've noticed all the pins on Pinterest of dogs. I adore dogs and thought it would be great fun to create a board combining two of my great loves - Dogs and Chinoiserie. Here you will find dogs in rooms with Chinoiserie, Chinoiserie dog beds, bowls, and the like, and tips from interior designers on living with dogs. I have several other new boards as well - Black Chinoiserie, Chevron, Chinese Chippendale, Chinoiserie in the City, The Chinoiserie Powder Room, The Iconic Loop Chair, and The One Room Challenge. I have added over 1,000 new followers on Pinterest in the last month - come join the fun.

  1. That first photo is fantastic - my kids joke that will be me one day (only with greyhounds and westies). The final photo shows a dressing table that could be a sister to mine - I need to find a good bench/small chair to go with it, as my dogs and cat have destroyed my needlepoint stool. Lovely idea, dogs and Chinoiserie!

  2. I think that Bunny should have that photo of John and crew painted as a portrait. Dogs rule!

  3. I love the idea of having a "shedding sheet" in the same fabric as the sofa. I would, unfortunately, have to have matching sheets for every surface in my home. Including the marble countertops.
Yah, people generally don't want to have dinner at my house.

  4. Oh my gosh! I'm in heaven with all this blue and white and love those gorgeous drapes at the top! The king charles spaniel is darling.

  5. I don't know - that first picture is darling but creepy at the same time... But the room is great!

  6. Oh and a question on the picture with the tiger print pillows - I found a Scalamandre tiger print that is gorgeous, but it's seriously like $600/yd. Does anybody know a beautiful tiger print that is more affordable?

  7. Love these sweet babies! Just as I thought those Italian Greyhounds stole my heart, there are those other cuties. God knew exactly what He was doing when He made dogs. Adorable all!
