Sunday Inspiration - Autumn and Chinoiserie

I think this is the coolest idea for fall decorating outdoors - towers of pumpkins and gourds. Pumpkin pagodas! I have a couple of tuteurs in my garden I would love to try this with.

  3. Kim - I always give the source if it available. Unfortunately, lots of photos on Pinterest don't give the source and you often can't link back.

  6. What a cool idea, but it would take a TON of pumpkins... lol!!!

By the way, I am hosting a giveaway on my blog this week for Jan Shower's new interior design book, Glamorous Retreats. I would love it if you would stop by and enter!

  7. I'm a little late to the game, but it occurred to me that a large tomato cage might work. If it's sprayed a dark color and turned upside down, all you'd have to do is weave wire at the height of the shelf shown and add a either a pre-cut wooden circle from the craft store or even a plate painted to match. Of course, add the pumpkins on the very bottom first. After the pumpkins are arranged, weave a bit of wire to secure the top so it forms a cone.
I have done this but wrapped Christmas lights from base to tip and set it in a pot of poinsettias for an outdoor decoration. The cages are super cheapand really versatile--my favorite combo!
Beth, you are clearly a huge inspiration to me!
